In 2019, I visited Portugal for the first time, safely establishing it right away it as one of my favourite places in the world. The beaches and rivers were unlike anything I'd paddled in, the beer was cheap, and it was roastin. All any wee Glaswegian guy could ever ask for. We spent a week in colourful and vibrant Lisbon, where the photos that became the pieces below were taken, before heading north to a small village near Porto to absolutely zone out in the pool.
